In this care experience, children will explore the history and culture of France, learn simple everyday phrases in French, discover terminology about geography, and communicate fun facts.

 

Remember, the lesson is meant to be interactive and a conversation with the child. After asking them questions, always pause and wait for their response and reply accordingly.


 

THE MATERIALS  YOU WILL NEED: 

 

  • Paper

  • Scissors

  • Markers, crayons, or paint

In this care experience, your child will explore anatomy and the incredible functionality of the human body, learn Biology terminology, and discover the importance of the skin, bones and muscles as well as uncover cool and interesting facts about the lungs while building their own and communicating what they discovered.

THE MATERIALS  YOU WILL NEED:

 

•4 Colored or white paper

•Cotton swabs

•Tape

•Straws

•String

•2 Ziploc or plastic bags

•Markers, crayons or colored pencil

•Child safe scissors

•Introduction: introduce yourself and ask child about themselves

•Start lesson: Body protection and movement - skin, muscles, and bones

•First activity:  build skeleton and robotic hand

•Continue lesson: learn about organs and the lungs

•Second activity: build your own lungs

INTRODUCTION

-Begin the session by introducing yourself to the child and/or parent. Confirm the care experience that they signed up for and review the materials needed.

-Then start your session. To break the ice, ask the child their name, their age, and what their favorite thing to do is or favorite topic in school.

-Explain that in this session you will explore the human body, learn some Biology while you build cool body parts together and discuss what you discovered.
