The Bundle Break Lesson Plan.
In this care experience, children will explore the history of the catapult, observe physics in motion, learn about scientific terminology, and communicate what they discovered.Remember, the lesson is meant to be interactive and a conversation with the child. After asking them questions, always pause and wait for their response and reply accordingly.
THE MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
Clean spoon or plastics spoon
4 to 5 pieces of paper
Markers for decoration
5 -Crafting sticks, washed popsicle/ice cream sticks, or tongue depressors (if the child does not have crafting stick, you could use pencils but it will be harder to work with.)
Tape measure or ruler
Child safe scissors

Begin the session by introducing yourself to the child and/or parent. Confirm the care experience that they signed up for and review the materials needed.
Then start your session. To break the ice, ask the child their name, their age, and what their favorite thing to do is or favorite topic in school.
Explain that in this session you will explore the history of the catapult, learn some science, and discuss what you discovered together.
